Ford's Gambling Bills To Go Before Committee Next Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind – Gambling proposals are scheduled to be considered next week at the Indiana State House.
Senate Bill 552 and 436 proposed by Jon Ford (R-Terre Haute) will go before the Public Policy Committee next Wednesday.
SB 552 would allow a Gary riverboat license to move to Terre Haute if the city councils in both towns agree.
It would also allow the holder of another riverboat license to apply to the Indiana Gaming Commission to move operations to Vigo County.
Senate Bill 436 would allow sports gambling on riverboats and at casinos, horse racing tracks and satellite facilities.
