SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. – A domestic dispute in Sullivan County ended without injury Tuesday afternoon.
It started Tuesday morning at a home just east of Hymera on 8277 East 750 North.
Authorities say that 29-year-old Joey Lee Edmonson allegedly pointed a handgun at a girlfriend and then fired a shot.
A woman, who did have a protective order against Edmonson, took her child and went to a different location to call for help.
The Terre Haute Special Response Team arrived at the home to assist but not before Edmonson fled out a back door.
He was later tracked to Greene County where he arrested without incident.
Edmonson was wanted on multiple warrants in Greene County, including strangulation, battery, stalking, and violating a protective order.
He will also now face a preliminary charge of violating a protective order in Sullivan County.
