Terre Haute Man Arrested On Drug Charges During I-70 Traffic Stop

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – Wednesday night (2/27/19) around 9:45 p.m., Indiana State Police stopped a vehicle that failed to dim its headlights while traveling west bound on US 40 in Putnam County.
The driver of the vehicle was 22-year-old Ashaun Miller, 22, of Terre Haute.
During the traffic stop, the Trooper became suspicious and noticed the smell of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle turned up 200 vials of marijuana/hash oil in a tote located in the back seat of the vehicle.  Miller was traveling from Indianapolis to Terre Haute.
He arrested and taken to the Putnam County Jail.
