TERRE HAUTE, Ind – What at first appeared to be a case of possible bullying of a local middle school student is a little clearer.

Jennifer and Branden Norman told News 10 that their 6^th grade daughter, 11-year-old Nevaeh, was hurt Tuesday at the school in a very rough move while playing in the gym. The other student picked her up and dropped her.

Neevaeh did suffer a fracture to her backbone and is now back home recovering.

She is in pain but should make a full recovery in the next couple of months.
