PARKE COUNTY, Ind.  – Authorities have released the preliminary cause of death of a Terre Haute woman involved in an accident last weekend.

31-year-old Jacque McCullough was killed in a crash on May 24 near Bridgeton Road and Jeffries Ford Road.

McCullough died of multiple instances of blunt force trauma.

Police say Michael Thacker was the driver and McCullough’s boyfriend. He has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

He remains behind bars on $15,000 bond.
