TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  –  A plea deal for a man accused of cutting the tongue of his girlfriends 14 month old son Cameron back in January.

The child also suffered several bruises and other injuries.

33 year old Scott Edwards faces charges of aggravated battery and neglect of a dependent and has entered a guilty plea.

Both are level three felonies with a possible sentence of three to 16-years.

A sentencing date has not been set.
