Kroger Recalls Select Frozen Private Selection Berries For Possible Hepatitis A Contamination

INDIANA – Certain packages of Kroger “Private Selection” frozen blackberries are being recalled due to hepatitis A contamination.

The contamination was discovered by the FDA during a “frozen berry sampling.”

 

The following products are being recalled:

 

Private Selection Frozen Triple Berry Medley, 48 oz.

– Best – By Date: July 7, 2020

– UPC: 0001111079120

 

Private Selection Frozen Triple Berry Medley, 16 oz.

– Best – By Date: June 19, 2020

– UPC: 0001111087808

 

Private Selection Frozen Blackberries, 16 oz.

– Best – By Dates: June 19, 2020; July 2, 2020

– UPC: 0001111087809

 

If you have any of the recalled berries, you should not eat them. Instead, you should throw them away or return them to the store.
