TERRE HAUTE, Ind – City Councilman Todd Nation proposed turning Eighth and Ninth Streets from one-way to two-way.

The West Central Indiana Economic Development District examined the streets and traffic patterns and report that they should remain one-way.

At Thursday nights City Council Meeting, Nation withdrew his proposal which means that the streets will stay one-way.

There us also a recommendation that bike lanes be added which is part of the 20-year metropolitan transportation plan.
