LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A Lafayette boy died during a visit to Indiana Beach Thursday.
The 12-year-old died after he collapsed on a ride at the amusement park, but a White County Coroner believes he may have died from a health-related issue.
Sheriff Bill Brooks said the boy was on the Hoosier Hurricane, when he collapsed. He had to be lifted to the ground, and was taken to a hospital where he later died.
An autopsy has been scheduled to confirm the cause of death was health-related.
