INDIANA – A new study by WalletHub says Indiana is sixth on a list of most energy-expensive states in the U.S. WalletHub says they compared the total monthly energy bills in each of the 50 states, as well as D.C.
According to the report, the average Hoosier is paying around $333 each month for their total energy expenses. Indiana also ranked fourth for the monthly motor-fuel costs, at $169 per person.
Connecticut ranked as the most energy-expensive state in the country, while D.C. was ranked as the cheapest.
