VIGO COUNTY, Ind – Two people were killed, and another suffered serious injuries in an early morning crash.

Vigo County Deputies were called out just before 3:00 am to a single car crash on French Drive.

Officers say that their investigation shows that the vehicle appeared to be heading east when it went off the road and struck a tree.

Two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.

One occupant was transported to regional Hospital.

Deputies say that speed was a factor in the crash.

Names of those involved have not been released.
