PARKE COUNTY, Ind. – One person was killed in a Thursday afternoon crash in Parke County.

It happened on SR 36 and Walker Ramp Road east of Rockville around 1:00p.m.

Reportedly one motorcycle was stopped to make a left turn when it was rear ended by another bike.

Both riders were thrown from their motorcycles.

Police say the motorcycle driver who didn’t stop was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.

The other driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
