CLINTON, Ind – Just after 2:00 a.m. this morning (7/5/19) Vermillion County Deputies were called about a theft that had just occurred at 533 3rd Street in Clinton. The caller told officers that a man had just left the residence with several items.

Officers found and stopped the suspect on Main Street.

Several items that were taken from the residence were located inside the vehicle.

41 year old Stephen K Bolin of Clinton and formerly of Lafayette was arrested on a charge of theft.

Officers also discovered that Bolin had failed to register as a sex offender in Vermillion County.  He also is now facing a charge of Failure to Register as a Sex offender.

He is being held in the Vermillion County Jail on $10,000 bond with not 10%.
