TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Last month the Council On Domestic Abuse known as CODA said they would be forced to end residential services if they did not reach their goal by September 14.
Several local businesses and organizations worked to raise the money, and along with a $50,000 matching grant from the Wabash Valley Community Foundation the goal has been reached.
CODA said that they were amazed and grateful for all of the community support.
CODA says they are the only service locally for survivors of domestic violence in West Central Indiana.
