VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A public forum was held Wednesday evening to show area residents what a proposed new Vigo County Jail would look like.

Only about 20 residents attended the two-hour event at the AMVETS Post 222. County officials, engineers and architects were also in attendance.

A blueprint of the proposed 504 bed jail was on display.

The plans will next be presented to the Vigo County Council at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
