VIGO COUNTY, Ind – On Thursday (9/5/19) just after midnight Indiana State Trooper Gerald Stump saw a passenger car stopped at US 41 and Poplar Street.

A license plate check showed that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Terre Haute.

The Trooper stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, 29 year old Cory J. Thompson, of Terre Haute on multiple charges including vehicle theft, possession of meth and other drugs plus driving while suspended.

Thompson was arrested and taken to the Vigo County Jail where he is currently being held on $10,000 bond. He will appear in Vigo County Court next Tuesday (9/10/19).
