UPDATE: One Killed In Overnight Fire

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Fire investigators have released more informatoin on an overnight fire.

Investigator Norm Loudermilk told us this morning that the fire is being ruled as accidental and the cause with smoking while using oxygen.

An autopsy is scheduled for this morning.

The identity of the person killed has not been released.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – One person is dead after an overnight fire on the Terre Haute’s north side.

Firefighters were called out around 12:30 this morning to 2945 Fort Harrison which is near the Tredegar Film Products facility.

Crews were on scene all night.

An elderly man on oxygen was killed in the blaze.

A witness on scene told News10 that the man’s oxygen tank exploded, but that has not been confirmed.

Investigators are still trying to determine a cause.
