TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – A trial for a Terre Haute man accused of murder has begun.

A jury has been selected for the trial that is expected to last most of the week.

Clarence Bell Jr. allegedly shot and killed Ray Rose in September of 2018.

Officers found Rose’s body on the side of 18th and Wabash in Terre Haute.

They say Rose was a transient.

Police say the murder happened shortly after Bell’s car was damaged.
