INDIANAPOLIS — Another accolade for Indianapolis International Airport.

The Indy airport is the best medium-sized airport in North America, according to the J.D. Power 2019 North American Airport Satisfaction Study. The airport also received this honor in 2016.

J.D. Power measures customer satisfaction based on surveys of travelers at airports around the world. Overall passenger experience is based on six factors: airport accessibility; check-in and baggage check; security; food, beverage, and retail; terminal facilities; and baggage claim.

Travelers gave the Indy airport high marks for its terminals, ranking them first in cleanliness, comfort, atmosphere and ambiance, clarity of signs and directions, Wi-Fi service, and ease of getting to the gate.

The airport received an overall satisfaction score of 833 out of 1,000, according to J.D. Power.
