VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Just after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon (10/01/19) a 31-year-old Terre Haute woman entered the Clinton City Police Department to report a battery.

She told officers that she and her boyfriend, 26-year-old Matthew J. Kabbany of Fairview, had been arguing while driving back to Fairview from Terre Haute when he punched her in the right eye.

The victim told officers that he refused to exit the vehicle when she pulled over.

Kabbany was taken into custody.

The victim also says that she is pregnant and Kabbany knew of her condition and is now facing charges of Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury to a Pregnant Women a level 5 felony.
