PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Just after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday morning (10/15/19) Parke County Deputies and other first responders were called to a residence on the report of a 12 year old male who suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the foot.

After further investigation, and witness interviews were conducted, officers determined that three juveniles with adult supervision were hunting, when the incident occurred. The juvenile was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
