Indiana  – Today Tomorrow, across the state the Indiana Department of Transportation will be hosting a job fair to find seasonal snow plow workers.

The event will take place in multiple cities across the state including, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Bloomington, Plainfield and Veedersburg from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The seasonal positions are for general highway maintenance, like removing snow and ice and repairing and installing traffic signs and pavement markings, said INDOT.

The pay is $16 per hour and you can get up to 37.5 hours per week plus snow events. INDOT said they are offering a $250 sign-on bonus and a $500 retention bonus. The job would run from Nov. 4 to March 20 of next year.

What You’ll Need

– Current Driver’s License PLUS another form of identification

– CDL License

– Ability to pass a drug test

– Copy of High School Diploma/GED (preferred, but not required)

You do not have to pre-register, but INDOT said it is preferred.
