VIGO COUNTY, Ind – Vigo County Judge John Roach has taken a bond reduction request from a suspended Terre Haute firefighter accused of child molestation under advisement.
46 year old Rodger Plunkett, of Paris, Illinois is accused to performing sex acts with two minor children when they were 7 years old or younger. The alleged victims are now adults and recently reported the incidents.
Plunkett was suspended from the Terre Haute Fire Department following his arrest.
Fire Chief Jeff Fisher has recommended that Plunkett be fired.
His next court appearance is set for November 21st and his trial date is set for February 24th next year.
