VIGO COUNTY , Ind – The appeal of former Vigo County School Superintendent Dan Tanoos continues.
His defense attorneys have filed their final brief before the Indiana Court of Appeals in their mid-case challenge of bribery charges.
They claim that the three bribery charges are over-generalized and do not establish an actual crime or define and actual crime as defined in Indiana law.
The corporation is currently reviewing all moneys paid to ESG and the contracts.
ESG has preformed over $40 million worth of work for the corporation.
A judgment could take two months or more.
An actual trial on the alleged crimes is currently on hold until the appeal is decided upon.
