VIGO COUNTY, Ind –  On Wedneday (10-23-19) Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse reported that 35 year old Gina N. Richey of Terre Haute turned herself in to police on a Vigo County warrant.

Richey was charged with two counts of felony Child seduction by a Child care worker by sexual intercourse or other sexual conduct.

Police say that the arrest stemmed from an investigation which began in Parke County in September, but later was determined to have taken place in Vigo County.

At that point, the investigation was transferred to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say that Richey, who is a teacher at Rosedale elementary, was having a sexual relationship with a student from Riverton Parke High School and that relationship had been going on for a while.

Richey will appear in Vigo County court on Thursday (10-24-19).
