TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute man is in custody after a more than five hour standoff with police.
Officers went to a home near 22nd and Sycamore Streets around 6:00 p.m. Friday to arrest 33-year-old Daniel Brown.
He was wanted on charges of escape, possession of meth, resisting law enforcement and battery on a person less than 14-years-old.
A female in the home did come out but Brown refused to surrender and had allegedly made threats to shoot police.
The Terre Haute Police Special Response Team was called in and sometime after 11:00 p.m. Brown surrendered.
No Injuries were reported during the incident.
Brown will appear in Vigo County Court on Monday (11/4/19).
