Warrant Arrest Nets 90 Grams Of Meth

KNOX COUNTY, Ind – Early Sunday morning (11/24/19) Indiana State Police, Vincennes Police and Knox County Sheriff’s Department received a tip that a wanted man could be found at a Vincennes hotel.

40-year-old Mark Baughn Jr, of Bicknell, was wanted on a Knox County warrant and three outstanding Illinois warrants for failure to appear.

Officers arrested Baughn and 59-year-old Robert Emmons of Vincennes who was also in the hotel room at the same time.

While officers were inside the hotel room, they observed several illegal items in plain view. After a search warrant was obtained for the hotel room officers discovered items from a meth lab, over 90 grams of methamphetamine, a hypodermic syringe and a small amount of marijuana.

Both men are facing several drug related charges.
