BENTON COUNTY – A White County teen was killed in a Tuesday evening crash that happened around 11:50 p.m. on US 41 at the intersection of SR 352. That is on the east edge of Boswell in Benton County.

Indiana State Police say that 18-year-old Natalie Ramos, of Reynolds, failed to yield to a semi-tractor-trailer driven by 40-year-old Matthew Vice of Westville, Ill.

Police say that Ramos’ SUV was struck on the passenger side. Both vehicles came to rest on the east shoulder of US 41.

 

Ramos who appeared to be not wearing a seat-belt, was thrown into the median and died as a result of her injuries.

Vice was not injured. 

At the time of the crash the roadway was wet, and a heavy rainfall was occurring.
