Vincennes Man Arrested For Driving Drunk With Son In Car

VINCENNES, Ind.–Driving drunk with his son in the car is what police say a man from Vincennes did Thanksgiving night.

State police say 45 year old Housman R. Paz, of Vincennes was driving a 2005 Buick without the headlights on and rear-ended another car while his son was in the back seat. That accident happened around 9:30.

When officers tested Paz, they say he had a blood alcohol content of .25 (the legal limit is .08). The boy was released to his mother.

Paz was taken to the Knox County Jail. He has been charged with driving while intoxicated with a passenger under the age of 18. That’s a Class 6 felony.
