KNOX COUNTY, Ind – Saturday afternoon (11/30/19) around 4:30 p.m. Vincennes City Police attempted to stop a stolen pickup truck, but the driver refused to stop.

The driver eventually lost control and drove into a field.

He continued to try to evade police by driving in reverse until the vehicle became stuck.

The driver who was later identified as 27-year-old John Koonce of Bridgeport, Illinois fled on foot for about a quarter mile before being apprehended.

He is facing multiple charges.
