Chicken Ordinance On Agenda For Terre Haute City Council Tonight

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – The Terre Haute City Council will meet tonight and, on the agenda, will be a proposed Chicken Ordinance. The proposal will allow city residents to have chickens on their property provided the abide by the rules and regulations which will set a limit on the number of birds allowed and how they are cared for and hosed. The proposal will also set guidelines and fines for those that do not abide by the rules. There will also be a requirement for a $25 license.
