TERRE HAUTE, Ind – On Monday, Terre Haute Savings Bank celebrated 150 years of operation in the valley.

THSB received state and federal commendations from US Rep Larry Bucshon, Governor Eric Holcomb, the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett.

THSB was founded November 10, 1869.

Since 1882, the bank has been located at the corner of Sixth and Ohio streets.

Now the bank has six Vigo County locations and one in Brazil.

The bank has celebrated the week by giving $1000 donations to local non-for-profit groups.
