VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A delay in sentencing for a man found guilty of murder.

21-year-old Dylan Morgan, was convicted by a jury in December of murder, altering the scene of a death, obstruction of justice and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and illegal consumption of alcohol, in connection to the August 2018 shooting death of his 18-year-old friend Gage Eup.

The defense filed a motion to correct errors after learning that the jury forewoman knows Detective David Thompson who was a witness in the trial.

Judge John Roach is to review a defense filing and set a hearing for Feb.10.
