More Charges Filed Against Man Shot By Police

VIGO COUNTY, Ind – Indiana State Police say that more charges have been filed against a Terre Haute man shot by city police.

37-year-old Jeremy R. Ross was shot Friday, March 6, during a traffic stop. Terre Haute Police said Ross, who was a passenger in a car that was pulled over, took out a gun and refused to put it down.

Two officers shot Ross.

He appeared in Vigo Superior Court 3 today ( 3/11/20) for an initial hearing.

Ross had additional charges filed against him including two counts of attempted murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of an altered handgun, resisting law enforcement, possession of paraphernalia nd possession of a look-a-like substance.

Ross remains in the Vigo County Jail where he is being held on a $150,000 bond.
