TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A college student from Mitchell, Ind. is accused of rape on a Terre Haute campus.

20-year-old Terry Wayne Slone III allegedly raped a woman at the Sigma Nu fraternity house at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The woman said Slone had given her two bottles of wine, and she drank most of the wine with a small group of people who were playing drinking games.

The woman said she was drunk and laying on a couch in Slone’s room when she was assaulted.

A sexual assault kit was collected the next day at an Indianapolis hospital and results allegedly identified Sloan’s DNA.

Slone denies the accusations.

He is being held in the Vigo County Jail on $35,000 bond with no 10% allowed.

Jail records show that he will be back in court Thursday.
