SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind – Sullivan County Deputies were called to a county residence around 11:30 p.m. on March 5th by a woman reporting that a man was at the residence in violation of a protective order.
39-year-old James Wilburn of Arnold, MO. was found sitting inside his vehicle. Wilburn was wanted on a warrant for Invasion if Privacy, on the same victim. The warrant said he was to be considered armed and dangerous.
Officers say that Wilburn appeared extremely nervous, and kept looking back into his vehicle. Officers saw a white powdery substance that looked similar to methamphetamine.
A search of Wilburn’s vehicle discovered approximately 50 grams of methamphetamine, along with a variety of legend drugs, and other paraphernalia.
Wilburn was arrested and charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, invasion of privacy, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a schedule 2 controlled substance, and a schedule 4 controlled substance.
His bond is set at $74,000.
