INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana State Department of Health officials announced on Sunday four new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number statewide to 19.

Those new cases of COVID-19 were residents of Hamilton and Marion counties.

State officials said 11 Indiana counties now have cases.

For most people, coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough but for older adults and people with existing health problems it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia.

Most with milder cases recover in two weeks.
