SPRINGFIELD – On Sunday the Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,656 new cases of coronavirus and 57 additional deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 77,741 cases, including 3,406 deaths.

No confirmed cases have been reported in Edgar County.

New cases were reported in Clark County.
