Greencastle Man Arrested For Drunk Driving On I-70

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – Monday night (6/15/20) around 11:30 p.m., Indiana State Police working the construction zone near the 37-mile marker on Interstate 70 stopped a car for unsafe lane movement and almost striking several construction barrels.

The driver was identified as 64-year-old Louis E. Collins, of Greencastle, IN.

After suspicious activity, a search of the vehicle turned up marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and several opened alcoholic beverage containers.

Collins failed the field sobriety test and later tested at .12% BAC.

Collins was arrested and is facing multiple charges.
