BRAZIL, Ind – Brazil city police are investigating an overnight murder.

Chief Clint McQueen says that officers were called out around 12:30 to 236 East National Avenue on a report of a stabbing.

Officers found one person who had been stabbed multiple times during an altercation.

That person died later at an area hospital. A name has not yet been released pending notification of relatives.

Officers interviewed witnesses on scene and quickly arrested 29-year-old Cody A Wade who also lived at the residence.

Brazil City Police and Indiana State Police crime scene investigators are continuing their investigation.
