Bellmore Fire Department Called Out For Two Emergencies Friday Night

PARKE COUNTY, Ind – The Bellmore Fire Department were kept busy late Friday as crews responded to two emergencies.

According to social media posts by the Fire Department, the first call happened around 9:45 PM at the intersection of US 36 and SR 59.  The two vehicle accident resulted in one truck on its side.  All occupants of both vehicles were able to get out by themselves and did not have to go to the hospital.

The around 11:30 PM crews were dispatched to the Tiki Hut for a fire. Firefighters encountered moderate smoke conditions and visible fire at the front door when they arrived.

The fire was quickly contained to the interior area of the southeast corner.  The store did have heavy heat and smoke damage.  The cause of the fire is an accidental electrical malfunction.
