Terre Haute, In. – More expansion is on the table now for Hydrite Chemical Company at 13th Street and Lockport Road, after the Terre Haute Board of Public Works and Safety on Monday approved real estate and personal property tax abatements. The money instead, will go toward creating another 14 jobs. Hydrite Chemical currently employs 45 people with an annual salary of more than $2.7 million. The 14 additional employees will add an annual salary of $830,000, or about $59,285 per position.The Terre Haute City Council plans to vote on final approval on Thursday.
