Terre Haute, In. – Officials with the Terre Haute Regional Airport are reportedly now working to complete an application for the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels for an upcoming two day air show sometime in 2024, but they say if that isn’t successful, they would also accept the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. The application for the military flight teams must be in by the end of May, and then the selection is made during the first week of December, so they will not have an answer until then. They say if they cannot secure either the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds, they’ll probably hold off another year and try again.
