VIGO COUNTY SCHOOL CORP. RECEIVE GRANT

Terre Haute, In. – On Friday, the Indiana Department of Education announced that the Vigo County School Corp. is one of just three school districts statewide that are each getting a $100,000 STEM Acceleration Grant. The district will use the money to move its strategic plan forward with a focus on STEM education. Other Wabash Valley districts that received smaller grants are Clay Community Schools, which received $25,000; Linton-Stockton Community School Corp. and South Vermillion Community School Corp., which each got $50,000.
