Terre Haute, In. – A company has plans to reopen the former Pyrolyx plant on Steelton Avenue in Terre Haute… Bolder Industries Inc…. which bought the plant last December after Pyrolyx shut down in March 2020 after filing for bankruptcy… is reportedly seeking a state air quality permit which would pave the way for the old plant to start up again sometime in the first quarter of 2023. Bolder is now in a 30-day public comment period for renewal of a federally enforceable state operating permit through the Indiana Department of Environmental Management Office of Air Quality. A copy of the company’s permit application is available at the Vigo County Public Library, and also online at www.in.gov.
