Vigo County, In. – Former Vigo County Commissioner Brendan Kearns began his new job on January 4th as director of The Vigo County Soil and Water Conservation District. Kearns was a former conservation program specialist with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and most recently served as a Vigo County Commissioner before losing his bid for re-election this past fall. The Vigo County Soil and Water Conservation District is a sub-division for the state of Indiana and is responsible for soil and water conservation in Vigo County.
