A suspect has been charged in connection with a house fire on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, at approximately 3:35 p.m., the Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a possible structure firelocated at 3907 East County Road 1500 North in Van Buren Township.

When Deputies arrived at the residence, there was visible smoke near the front door of the residence, and some damage to the residence. The occupants of the residence were able to get out with no injuries.

Casey Clark, 42, was arrested and charged with Level 4 Felony, Arson. The case was investigated by Clay County Sheriff’s Detectives and assisted by the Van Buren Volunteer Fire Department.
has been forwarded to the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office. Her bond is currently set at $25,000.
