Vigo County, In. – The possibility of another court in Vigo County is another step closer.  On Wednesday, the Indiana House Committee on Courts and Criminal Code passed House Bill 1114. The bill adds several courts and magistrates to various counties across the state, including Vigo.  Vigo County is asking for the addition of one court which would increase the number of courts in the county to six.  If this bill is signed into law the court could hear cases as early as July of this year.
