One day Hoosiers may be able to register to vote on election day.
A bill by Rep. Tonya Pfaff is going through the Indiana House that would make same-day registration possible.
HB 1427 “permits a voter to register at the polls by: (1) completing a voter registration form along with an affirmation that the person has not voted elsewhere in the election; and (2) providing proof of residence. Makes conforming changes” according to the bill digest on www.iga.in.gov.
