The meeting to explain why Markle Mill Dam may have to be removed from Otter Creek will be held on Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. in Otter Creek Middle School. It had previously been scheduled to be held in the Vigo County Annex.

Commissioners released a statement last Tuesday that the meeting was being moved to accommodate a larger crowd.

“It’s informational only and we plan to have another meeting at a later date,” the statement said.

The dam is located on Otter Creek at Markle Mill Park.
